O a\u00e7o conformado a frio \u00e9 obtido a partir de chapas ou bobinas de a\u00e7o com espessura de 1,5 a 6,0 mm, moldadas por lamina\u00e7\u00e3o a frio. Os perfis t\u00eam a mesma espessura de parede.
