Cada nervura tem 37 mm de altura. O perfil \u00e9 laminado a frio a partir de bobina de a\u00e7o galvanizado, tipicamente com 0,4 mm a 0,8 mm de espessura. O perfil IBR surgiu na \u00c1frica do Sul em 1958 e continua sendo o perfil de cobertura dominante no sul da \u00c1frica at\u00e9 hoje.<\/p><p>A sigla IBR significa Inverted Box Rib (Caixa Nervurada Invertida). O termo &quot;invertida&quot; refere-se \u00e0s nervuras trapezoidais que apontam para cima a partir da base plana, criando um perfil r\u00edgido em forma de caixa quando visto em corte transversal. Cinco nervuras percorrem toda a extens\u00e3o da telha, cada uma com 37 mm de altura. O formato trapezoidal das nervuras, em vez de arredondado, aumenta o m\u00f3dulo de se\u00e7\u00e3o e melhora a capacidade de vencer v\u00e3os.<\/p><p>Cada vale entre as nervuras principais cont\u00e9m uma nervura de refor\u00e7o secund\u00e1ria. Essa nervura \u00e9 menor, geralmente com 2 a 3 mm de altura, mas impede o efeito de ondula\u00e7\u00e3o devido \u00e0 a\u00e7\u00e3o do vento e \u00e0s varia\u00e7\u00f5es t\u00e9rmicas. Sem o refor\u00e7o no vale, as grandes \u00e1reas planas entre as nervuras principais se flexionariam e causariam ondula\u00e7\u00f5es vis\u00edveis no telhado acabado.<\/p><p>O espa\u00e7amento de 171,5 mm entre os centros das nervuras cria uma distribui\u00e7\u00e3o de carga equilibrada. Compare isso com o perfil ondulado padr\u00e3o, que utiliza ondula\u00e7\u00f5es mais estreitas com passo de 76 mm e apenas 17 mm de altura. O\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.nrcs.org.za\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">\u00d3rg\u00e3o Regulador Nacional para Especifica\u00e7\u00f5es Obrigat\u00f3rias (NRCS)<\/a>\u00a0Imp\u00f5e especifica\u00e7\u00f5es obrigat\u00f3rias para materiais de constru\u00e7\u00e3o no mercado sul-africano.<\/p><p><strong>SANS 994<\/strong>\u00a0\u00e9 a especifica\u00e7\u00e3o principal para chapas de a\u00e7o perfiladas. Ela define as toler\u00e2ncias dimensionais, os requisitos de revestimento e as propriedades mec\u00e2nicas. De acordo com a norma SANS 994, as dimens\u00f5es do perfil IBR 686 devem estar dentro de uma toler\u00e2ncia de \u00b1 2 mm para a largura de cobertura e \u00b1 1 mm para a altura da nervura. A classe do material deve atender \u00e0 norma ISQ 550, que \u00e9 equivalente \u00e0 S350GD segundo a norma EN 10346.<\/p><p><strong>SANS 121<\/strong>\u00a0regulamenta os revestimentos galvanizados a quente. Para chapas IBR, a camada m\u00ednima de zinco \u00e9 Z180 para aplica\u00e7\u00f5es no interior e Z275 para \u00e1reas costeiras a menos de 10 km da linha da costa. Z275 significa 275 gramas de zinco por metro quadrado de chapa, considerando ambos os lados.<\/p><p><strong>SANS 10400 Parte L<\/strong>\u00a0Abrange o Regulamento Nacional de Constru\u00e7\u00e3o para telhados. Esta norma especifica os requisitos estruturais, incluindo resist\u00eancia \u00e0 a\u00e7\u00e3o do vento, impermeabiliza\u00e7\u00e3o e drenagem.
